About Nebraska
The Huskers enter Friday's game undefeated, posting five lopsided wins. The closest game for Nebraska came against Southeastern Louisiana (68-58) on November 9, but the Huskers delivered a 113-70 victory over South Dakota and an 85-48 win over North Alabama in the last two outings.
Nebraska's starting five lead the way as the top five scorers. Natalie Potts leads the way with 14.4 ppg and 7.4 rpg. Alexis Markowski (13.8 ppg), Britt Prince (13.0 ppg) and Alberte Rimdal (10.4 ppg) are each also averaging double figures.
Scouting Creighton (1-2)
As Creighton heads into their annual territory tussle with Nebraska, the 1-2 Bluejays look to keep in-state superiority and rack up their second home win of the season.
The season got off to a rocky start, as the Bluejays fell to South Dakota State after opening the game cold, unable to overtake the Jackrabbits and retaining an early 0-1 record.
Creighton equalized its record three days later, where a career-high scoring performance from veteran Lauren Jensen pushed the Bluejays to home victory.
Most recently, a road loss against then- #10 Kansas State put the Bluejays at a 1-2 record.
Creighton's dynamic veteran offensive, spearheaded by Jensen and Morgan Maly, continues to breathe life into Bluejay basketball. Over the past three games, the duo recorded an average of 21.3 and 15.3 points in the early season, while Kiani Lockett took third place with 11.3 points per game.
Defensively, Jensen, Maly and Molly Mogensen lead the roster with 13 rebounds each, for 4.3 per game.
