Rowing Hosts 10th Annual 2K Challenge on February 8

Omaha, Neb. -- The Creighton Rowing team will host the 10th Annual 2K Challenge in D.J. Sokol Arena on Saturday, February 8.

Join us for the 10th Annual Creighton 2K Rowing Challenge! We have 8 different age categories for both men and women as well as 3 age categories for "kids"! Your entry fee covers your entry in the individual 2,000-meter race, the individual Half Marathon (21,097m) Row, a relay, or all of these races! (Kids 14 and younger and adults 70yrs+ will do 1,000-meters for the individual race).

The 4-person team relays consist of 4 rowers who will each complete 500 meters of the 2,000-meter race. Relays can be all women, all men or coed (must have at least 2 women). We also have a family relay division; a family must have at least 2 children under the age of 18. Finally, there is a couples relays! Each pair will row 500 meters a piece, with each relay consisting of 1,000 meters. Couples must have at least one woman! This is the second year we'll be hosting a 21,097m individual row - the Half Marathon Row. It is one of the first races of the day and will run throughout the morning.

Tickets are $30/person for Early Bird Tickets (through December 31, 2024). The price is $35/person starting January 1, 2025. Your registration fee covers your entry into all events (i.e. individual and relays).

Girls 15-18 (not in college) and Boys 15-18 (not in college)

Girls 12-14 (1000m) and Boys 12-14 (1000m)

Girls and Boys Under 12yrs

*Team Relays have no age category - can be coed (2 women and 2 men), all women, OR all men (2000m). Couples relays (1000m). Family relay (2000m) must have at least 2 children 18 or under (not in college).

**Awards will be given for the top 3 finishers in each category at the end of the day!

***There will not be T-shirts included with registration this year.
