Hudepohl, Dawson and Yturralde help Creighton take fifth place
CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas -- Top-20 finishes by Eleanor Hudepohl, Annie Dawson and Annika Yturralde helped the Creighton women's golf team to a fifth-place finish on Tuesday at the Islander Classic in Corpus Christi, Texas.
Hudepohl (76-76-82=234) led Creighton with a ninth-place finish, her fourth Top 10 finish in six tournaments this season.
Two shots back was Annie Dawson (79-79-78=236), who tied for 13th. It was the first Top 40 finish at the collegiate level for the Bluejay freshman from Phoenix, Ariz.
Annika Yturralde (81-81-78=240) followed up back-to-back 81s with a 78 that tied for CU's best mark on Tuesday. Her tie for 19th place was her best performance since taking 16th place at the 2023 BIG EAST Championships.
