Bluejay Women's Basketball Checks In at #23 in Current AP Poll

Omaha, Neb. -- After splitting a pair of nationally televised games with No. 9 UConn (L, 73-53 on Monday - FOX) and Villanova (W, 79-69 on Saturday - FOX) Creighton Women's Basketball (22-4, 13-3 BIG EAST) fell to No. 23 in the Associated Press poll, released on Monday, February 26.

In the weekly NET rankings released by the NCAA, Creighton remained No. 24, while the USA Today/Coaches poll will be released on Tuesday, February 27, last week Creighton was No. 21 in the USA Today/Coaches Poll.

Two BIG EAST teams remain in the AP Poll as Connecticut (24-5) leads the conference at No. 9, while the Bluejays are at No. 23.

The Bluejays have been in 15 of the 17 AP Polls this season and 16 of the 17 USA Today/Coaches polls.

Creighton closes out the regular season this week at home against Xavier on Tuesday, February 27 at 6:00 p.m., then at Seton Hall on Sunday, March 3. The contest with the Pirates is set to tip at 2:00 p.m. (CT) on FS1, while the contest with Xavier will be streamed on FloHoops/BEDN.
