#11 Volleyball Matches Best Ranking Since 2019

Creighton ranked 11th in this week's poll
The Bluejays are one of 15 schools (along with Baylor, BYU, Florida, Georgia Tech, Kentucky, Louisville, Nebraska, Oregon, Penn State, Pitt, Purdue, Stanford, Texas and Wisconsin) to have been ranked each of the last 47 polls. Creighton has been ranked in all but six of the past 117 weeks the AVCA has put out a Top 25 poll and 125 times in program history, which ranks 41st-most all-time. Creighton is 204-45 all-time when playing as a ranked team in the AVCA poll.
CU's all-time best ranking in program history is No. 7, which came in the poll released on Aug. 28, 2017. This is the 13th straight campaign that Creighton has spent at least one week in the top-25.
Creighton's BIG EAST rival, Marquette, came in at No. 24 and is one of six ranked Bluejay opponents in this week's poll. The Bluejays play non-conference matches against No. 2 Nebraska (Sept. 10), No. 4 Louisville (Sept. 15), No. 8 Purdue (Sept. 20), No. 13 Kansas (Sept. 21) and No. 20 USC (Sept. 5).
Back-to-back national champion Texas topped the poll, finishing just ahead of Nebraska, Pittsburgh, Louisville and Stanford.
Creighton returns to D.J. Sokol Arena on Thursday at 6 p.m. when it takes on No. 20 USC (2-0). The match will be televised nationally on FS1 and can be heard locally on 1180 The Zone.
