She lettered all four years in Cross Country and went to State very year. She placed 12th in her regional meet one year and helped her team get 4th in the State her senior year in class 5A. She lettered in Track the two years that she ran and got Most Valuable First Year runner award
Accomplishments at Creighton: Most valuable first year for XC
Proudest Moment as a runner: She is most proud of the fact that she has continued to run competitively after seven years, and even four years of year-round competing, and that she decided to commit to running Division 1. Making varsity as a freshman in high school.
Best Memories of running: Some of the best memories of running are from her first years of high school cross country when her team traveled to Aspen, CO for a race. She got to stay at beautiful house built over a river and she practiced on the most amazing mountain trails. Also, she played the full version of the card game SPOONS.
Most Embarrassing Moments as a runner: She fell only on her face on a very flat trail.
Summer running highlights were: She ran a 13 mile mountain race and placed second in her division.
