There's nothing quite like the buzz of this time of year — when fall and winter sports converge to create one of the most exciting stretches on the calendar!
Our men's and women's soccer programs, along with the women's volleyball team, are already deep into conference play, battling hard in pursuit of postseason success. Meanwhile, our cross country squads are gearing up for one last regular-season meet before making history. For the first time ever, Creighton will host the BIG EAST Cross Country Championships at the beautiful Olsson Cross Country Course at Mahoney State Park in Ashland, Nebraska, on October 31!
On the hardwood, the excitement is building fast! The men's basketball team is coming off five straight NCAA Tournament appearances (2021–2025) — matching a program-best streak last set from 1999–2003. Not to be outdone, the women's squad is making history of its own with four consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances — a first for the program. We can't wait to launch into the season! The men kick things off with a high-profile exhibition against Iowa State on Friday, October 17, while the women open at home with an exhibition game versus Missouri Western on October 22.
Once again, men's basketball season tickets are completely sold out — thank you, Bluejay Nation! But don't worry — mini plans and exhibition-game tickets are still available while the remaining single-game tickets go on sale on October 16. Women's basketball season tickets remain on sale until October 15. After that date, only single-game options will be offered.
Mark your calendars: for the second year in a row, the women's basketball showdown against nationally ranked UConn will take place at CHI Health Center Omaha on January 11. This exciting move continues our commitment to growing women's basketball and giving as many fans as possible the chance to witness elite competition on a big stage. We'd love to see you there!
