Men's Basketball Signs Two Recruits

OMAHA, Neb. – Creighton men's basketball has signed Jaidyn Coon and Katrelle Harmon to a letter-of-intent, head coach Greg McDermott announced on Wednesday, Nov. 12.

Jaidyn Coon, 6'6", Guard/Forward, Storm Lake, Iowa (Storm Lake HS)

Three-star recruit is the No. 128 prospect in 247Sports composite rankings, and the No. 3 player in Iowa.
Averaged 23.9 points, 9.3 rebounds, 3.1 assists, 1.7 steals and 1.7 blocks per game as a junior, when he shot 55.7 percent from the field and 68.2 percent at the line.
Helped Storm Lake to a 22-2 record in 2024-25, including the program's first state tournament appearance since 1994 and the Tornadoes first outright Lakes Conference title since 1980.
Averaged 19.8 points, 8.6 rebounds, 2.9 assists, 2.0 steals and 1.4 blocks as a sophomore.
As a freshman, averaged 13.6 points, 7.3 rebounds and 1.1 blocks per game.
Enters his senior year of high school with 1,229 career points and 538 rebounds.
Plays AAU basketball for D1 Minnesota.
Also had offers from Iowa, Iowa State, Illinois, Nebraska and TCU.
Verbally committed to Creighton on May 15, 2025.

Katrelle Harmon, 6'4", Guard, Seattle, Wash. (Wasatch [Utah] Academy)

A four-star prospect who is the No. 67 overall prospect per 247Sports composite rankings, and No. 3 recruit in Utah.
Averaged an EYBL Scholastic League-best 6.2 assists per game in his first season at Wasatch last winter.
Also averaged 9.1 points, 3.3 rebounds and 1.5 steals while making 36 percent of his three-point attempts and shooting 73 percent at the line for Wasatch.
Helped Wasatch to the quarterfinals of Chipotle Nationals as a junior.
Averaged 18.3 points, 4.6 rebounds and 2.7 assists this summer on Nike's EYBL circuit with Vegas Elite.
Before Wasatch, previously attended Brothers For Life Prep Academy in Renton, Wash.
Also received offers from Alabama, Iowa, Oregon, Rutgers and Washington.
Verbally committed on Aug. 9, 2025.
