We Have a Winner! Ivany takes 1st, Men's Golf Team Places 3rd

Waverly, Iowa -- The Men's Premier Club Golf team has their first individual victory and another 3rd place team finish to add to what has been an exciting first season! The team finished with a score of 788 (+68) to take 3rd Place in the Twin Cities Region Tournament this past weekend, taking place at the Prairie Links Golf Course on November 1st and 2nd. They finished behind first place University of Northern Iowa who shot 758 (+38) and second place University of St. Thomas who shot 777 (+57). The Bluejays beat out Iowa, Iowa State, University of St. Thomas (B Team), and University of Minnesota-Duluth to take their second 3rd place finish of the year.
Ethan Ivany secured the first ever individual win for the Premier Men's Club Golf team with his impressive 144 (E). Ivany scored 2 birdies and an eagle over both rounds. He shares the victory with UNI's Tim Castle who shot the same score, but Ivany beats out a field of over 50 golfers to take the tied-1st place finish.
The Bluejays had two more top 20 finishers. Colton Baxter scored a 158 (+14) to finish tied-12th and Taylor Ross scored a 159 (+15) to finish 16th. Creighton would not have secured the 3rd place finish withouth the efforts of all eight golfers, whose scores were as follows:
Hogan Civello shot a 165 (+21) and finished tied-26th.
Matthew Holbrook shot a 167 (+23) and finished tied-30th.
Luke Person shot a 168 (+24).
Noah Wesselman shot a 171 (+27).
Sam Handelsman shot a 180 (+36).
