Women's Basketball Climbs to #23 in AP Poll

Omaha, Neb. -- Following a 70-48 win over Georgetown on Saturday, Creighton Women's Basketball inched forward in the AP poll released on Monday, February 17 as the Bluejays moved from No. 24 (last week) to No. 23.
Appearing in the AP Poll for the third time this season, Creighton boasts a record of 21-4 on the season and 13-1 in BIG EAST contests. The Bluejays have won 12 of their last 13 games, including five in a row.
Creighton plays a pair of games this week as the Bluejays host St. John's at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 19 in D.J. Sokol Arena, then travels to Chicago to face DePaul on Sunday, February 23 in Wintrust Arena at 2:00 p.m.
