Sailors and Deters Named to D1Baseball's Top 100 Outfielders

Omaha, Neb. -- Two of Creighton's three projected starting outfielders were recognized in D1Baseball's Top 100 Outfielders List, released on February 5. Senior Nolan Sailors was slated as No. 46, while junior Teddy Deters came in at No. 90.
Sailors led the Bluejays with a .355 average last season and hit .309 in league play. Nolan collected 71 hits, 18 stolen bases and 55 RBI. He also had the second most home runs with seven, smacked 14 doubles and three triples.
In his first year as a Bluejay last season, Deters closed the season hitting .305 with a team best 10 home runs and 48 RBI. He was a perfect 9-for-9 on the base baths and also belted 14 doubles and four triples. Teddy led Creighton with 35 walks as well as a .569 slugging percentage.
Sailors, Deters and their Bluejay teammates open the 2025 season at UNC Greensboro on February 14th with a 3:00 p.m. contest against Spartans.
