
Nominees For Seventh Annual Billy’s Announced

The Billy's honor the best in Creighton Athletics from the past 12 months.
OMAHA, Neb. – Creighton Athletics will celebrate its top individual and team accomplishments from the past year on Wednesday night with the seventh edition of The Billy's.
Awards for The Billy's are based on the past 12 months. The fall/winter sports (Volleyball, Soccer, Cross Country and Basketball) will be based on the Fall of 2024 performances, while the sports still competing (Baseball, Softball, Rowing, Golf, Tennis, Track) will be based on performances from the Spring of 2024.
The event will feature 29 awards, including 14 True Blue Awards that recognize one student-athlete from each squad who embodied the values of resiliency, high character, selflessness, humility, discipline, dedication, determination, reliability, culture and a team-first attitude.
The Male and Female Carl M. Reinert, S.J., Scholar-Athlete Award recipients will also be recognized, as will the Male and Female Team Academic Awards, the Male and Female Teams of the Year and the Magis Award. The eight other awards to be distributed include the Male and Female Rookie of the Year, Male and Female Comeback Kid, Male and Female Muscle and Hustle Award, and the Male and Female Athlete of the Year.
Ana Bellinghausen and Connor Happer will conduct interviews on the "blue" carpet leading up to the event, with coverage of selected interviews planned for Creighton's social media channels.
