Rowing Places Seventh at WCC Championships

Sacramento, Calif. -- The Creighton Rowing team concluded its 2024-25 season with a seventh place finish at the 2025 WCC Rowing Championships on Saturday, May 17.
Battling in the petite finals in each event, Creighton posted the best times in both the V4 and V8 events. The Bluejays posted a time of 8:13.208 in the V4 to best both Portland and Santa Clara by more than three seconds. In the V8 race the Jays finished with a time of 7:01.898, just under three seconds faster than Portland and nearly 12 seconds clear of Santa Clara.
"Winning two of the four petite finals we were in and having good rows is a great way to end a season," said head coach Dan Chipps. "We had a great year and are looking forward to making grand finals at next years championships. I am so proud of the team and our seniors."
