Creighton Rowing Delivers Best Times Against Kansas and Kansas State

Kansas City, Kan. -- In the final opportunity to prepare for the conference championships, Creighton Rowing posted its best times of the season in both the 1v8 and the 2v8 against Kansas and Kansas State on Saturday, May 3.

"Today was a great day of racing," said head coach Dan Chipps. "We posted the fastest time in program history in both our 1v8 and 2v8. It was also the first time ever we have had both 4's under eight minutes."

The 2v4 finished at 7:46.689, while the 1v4 posted a time of 7:42.433. The times for the eight-person boats were 6:38.954 for the 1v8, 6:57.195 for the 2v8 and 7:32.575 for the 3v8.

The Bluejays return to action in the WCC Championships on May 16-17 in Sacramento, Calif.
