Jays will air on BTN, FS1 and Nebraska Public Media
OMAHA, Neb. -- The Creighton Volleyball team will appear on television at least 10 times during the upcoming 2025 season, including six of its first 10 matches. FS1 will broadcast four of the matches, BTN will air three others and Nebraska Public Media will televise three contests.
Each of Creighton's first three regular-season matches will be televised nationally. FS1 will air the season-opener in Lincoln against defending national champion Penn State this Saturday (Aug. 23) that is part of the AVCA First Serve. CU's trip to Madison the following week for the Opening Spike Classic will see BTN televise contests against Texas (Aug. 29) and Kansas (Aug. 31).
Creighton's final match at the Trojan Invitational on Sept. 7 at USC will also be televised by BTN.
FS1 will air Creighton's home-opener against national runner-up Louisville on Sept. 12 as the Bluejays, as well as its Sept. 16 match at CHI Health Center Omaha against national semifinalist Nebraska.
Nebraska Public Media will televise CU's non-conference finale against Kansas on Sept. 21, as well as its BIG EAST opener five days later vs. Xavier. Both match-ups between Creighton and Marquette will also be televised. CU's Oct. 2 contest in Milwaukee will air on FS1, while the Nov. 1 rematch in Omaha will be shown on Nebraska Public Media. Creighton has won 11 straight BIG EAST regular-season titles, but the Golden Eagles have shared the regular-season crown with CU in three of those years.
The 10 teams in the matches CU will face on television combined to win 24 NCAA Tournament matches last season, with three reaching the Final Four, six advancing to the Sweet 16 or further. All but Xavier won at least one NCAA Tournament contest.
New in 2025, all non-televised Creighton home matches will be streamed on ESPN+ this year. The Sept. 13 contest against Rice will be Creighton's first home match to air on the network this season.
The Bluejays finished 32-3 in 2024, advancing to the program's first Elite Eight since 2016.Â
