Bluejay Men's Soccer Battles Drake in a Friendly

Omaha, Neb. -- Just four days after reporting for the official commencement of the 2025 practice season on Monday, August 5, Creighton Men's Soccer competed against Drake in a friendly match on Saturday, August 9 at Morrison Stadium.Â
Both squads battled back-and-forth in oppressive heat for a complete 90 minutes. Four different Bluejays delivered goals in the contest, providing much for head coach Johnny Torres to consider before Creighton's second and final friendly at Bradley on Saturday, August 16 at 11 am.
The Bluejays begin the regular season with three consecutive road matches at Florida Atlantic (Aug. 21), Florida International (Aug. 24) and Michigan (Aug. 29), before opening its home schedule against Tulsa on September 1st at 6:00 p.m.
