Senior finished runner-up at Wildcat Invitational

OMAHA, Neb. -- Creighton senior Grant Feldman has been named the BIG EAST Golfer of the Week, the league announced on Wednesday.

Feldman tied for second place at the season-opening Wildcat Invitational, firing a 3-under aggregate score of 213 for the three-round, 54-hole tournament - one shot behind the medalist. He carded five birdies during the opening round of play, finishing with a score of 70. After a second round 73, Feldman closed out tournament play with another 70 on the Par 72 Colbert Hills Golf Club layout.

It marked the second consecutive year that the two-time Second Team All-BIG EAST selection finished as runner-up at the Wildcat Invitational.

This is the second career BIG EAST Golfer of the Week accolade for the Austin, Texas native, as he shared the recognition with teammate Charlie Zielinski on Sept. 20, 2023.
