School-record 65th straight week being ranked
The Bluejays are off to a 3-3 start, including a victory over No. 14 Kansas, with all three losses coming away from home to Top 25 programs.
The Bluejays are one of 13 schools (along with Baylor, Florida, Georgia Tech, Kentucky, Louisville, Nebraska, Penn State, Pitt, Purdue, Stanford, Texas and Wisconsin) to have been ranked each of the last 65 polls. Creighton has been ranked in all but six of the past 134 times the AVCA has put out a Top 25 poll and 142 times in program history, which ranks 39th-most all-time. Creighton is 236-51 all-time when playing as a ranked team in the AVCA poll.
Including 2025, Creighton has spent at least one week in the Top 25 each of the last 14 seasons. CU's all-time best ranking in program history is No. 5, which came four straight weeks last November (Nov. 4, Nov. 11, Nov. 18, Nov. 25, 2024).
Nebraska remained a unanimous pick for the top spot after a 6-0 start that includes three Top 10 wins and is ahead of Texas, Kentucky, Louisville and Stanford.
After six straight matches away from home, Creighton will make its 2025 regular-season debut inside D.J. Sokol Arena on Friday when it hosts No. 4 Louisville at 8 p.m. in a match that will be televised on FS1.
