Creighton's Battle with Musketeers to Follow MLB Game Between Reds and Nationals

Omaha, Neb. -- Creighton Baseball's road series at Xavier (May 14-16) got a little more exciting as the series opener on Thursday, May 14, will be played at Great American Ball Park following the Cincinnati Reds game against the Washington Nationals.

The Reds and the Nationals are scheduled to begin at 12:40 p.m. with the game between the Bluejays and Musketeers starting approximately 45 minutes following its conclusion. Fans attending the Reds vs. Nationals game can stay to see the Musketeers face the Bluejays. Tickets are available at www.reds.com/Tickets.

The remainder of the series (Friday, May 15 and Saturday, May 16) will be played at Xavier's Hayden Field.

Creighton is planning to remain in the Cincinnati area following the series with the Musketeers as the BIG EAST Tournament, played in Mason, Ohio, begins on Wednesday, May 20 at Prasco Park. The Bluejays are the defending regular season and BIG EAST Tournament champions.
