Chicago, Ill. -- Creighton Women's Basketball dropped a 76-61 decision at DePaul on Sunday, January 25. The loss moved the Bluejays to 8-12 on the season and 4-7 in BIG EAST play, while DePaul climbed to 5-17 overall and 2-9 in conference contest.
Ava Zediker led Creighton with 19 points, while Grace Boffeli finished with 12 points and 10 rebounds for her 43rd career double-double. Two other Bluejays delivered at least 10 points as Neleigh Gessert had 11 and Kennedy Townsend finished with 10 points. DePaul got 17 points from Kate Novik and 16 from Devin Hagemann to lead the Blue Demons.
Creighton returns to the hardwood on Wednesday, January 28 at home against St. John's in a game slated to begin at 6:00 pm.
