Carson Wright (80-84-73=237) and Brock Kuhlman (84-79-76=239) followed Mauney's lead by saving their best round for last.
Abilene Christian (293-287-271=851) won the tournament by five shots thanks to a 17-under final round to vault from fifth in the standings and edge out Idaho (289-288-279=856). The field consisted of 14 teams and 83 players on the Chambers Bay course that was a Par 72 layout and measured 7,196 yards on Monday before being shortened to 7,032 for Tuesday's final round.
The Bluejays are back on the course April 6-7 in Santa Barbara, Calif., when they head to the 2026 Gaucho Invite. It will be CU's final tune-up before the BIG EAST Championships on May 2-4 in Hardeeville, S.C.
