We are excited to announce the addition of two new head coaches to our Premier Club Sports coaching team. These individuals bring vast knowledge and experience in their respective sports and are very eager to begin building and developing their teams in preparation for the 2026-2027 academic year.
Taylor Janicek, Women's Premier Volleyball Head Coach
Taylor Janicek currently serves as the Assistant Director of Donor Relations and Annual Giving at Creighton University. Prior to this role, he was Creighton's Assistant Director for Sorority Life and Leadership. Taylor brings extensive knowledge of the university, along with a strong background in volleyball, having coached for several years at both the high school and club levels. His passion for the sport of volleyball, combined with his experience working with college students, makes him an ideal candidate to develop and lead the new Premier Club Volleyball program launching in Fall 2026. Taylor is a graduate of the University of Nebraska–Kearney and the University of South Dakota.
Emma Rosonke, Women's Premier Softball Head Coach
Omaha native and former Creighton softball standout Emma Rosonke returns to Creighton to lead the development of the Premier Club Softball team in 2026. She brings extensive collegiate experience, having appeared in over 150 games as a Bluejay. Emma's perspective as a former Creighton student, combined with her passion for the game, will be instrumental in guiding and developing the incoming group of freshmen during the program's inaugural season. Emma graduated from Creighton in 2024 with a degree in Criminal Justice and currently works for Omaha National.Â
