Pint Nine Brewing Company Announces New Label Launch in Partnership with Creighton University Athletics

Omaha, Nebraska — Pint Nine Brewing Company and Creighton Athletics are excited to announce the new label launch of 1878 Premium Lager, a beer created in celebration of Creighton Athletics, its fans, and the community that brings them together. Â
The collaboration brings together two local favorites — Creighton Athletics and Pint Nine Brewing — a creation designed for game days, watch parties, tailgates, and celebrations throughout the season.
1878 Premium Lager is made from the finest German malts and hops. A malty golden lager with a bready aroma and incredibly easy drinking. The new label will be available beginning September 12 at Pint Nine Brewing Company, Creighton University venues, and select retailers and bars throughout Nebraska and Western Iowa. 1878 Premium Lager is named for the year Creighton was founded!
"We couldn't be more excited to partner with Creighton Athletics," said Lea Watson, Director of Business Development at Pint Nine Brewing Company. "College athletics have an incredible way of bringing people together. We wanted to create a beer that fans could enjoy while cheering on the Bluejays and celebrating the community we all share."
This beer will officially kick off with a can reveal at Socctoberfest at Creighton on September 4th at Morrison Stadium. Fans are invited to be among the first to see the new label and enjoy the beer, celebrate the partnership, and gear up for another exciting season of Creighton Athletics.
"It's been a pleasure partnering with Pint Nine Brewing Company on this project," said Creighton McCormick Endowed Athletic Director Marcus Blossom. "We are excited to help deliver this Creighton-branded beer to our passionate Bluejay community."
The launch of 1878 is part of a broader partnership between Pint Nine Brewing and Creighton Athletics, with additional promotions and fan experiences planned throughout the 2026-27 season.
