2008-10 (Duke University)
• Made nine appearances on the mound before his season was cut short due to injury in 2010.
• Finished with a 2-1 record, including wins against Liberty and No. 11 Clemson in 2010.
• Played summer baseball in the Northwoods League in Eau Claire, finishing the summer with a 3-1 record and a 5.00 ERA.
• Made 12 appearances and six starts on the mound for Duke in 2009, finishing 3-1.
• Threw 35.1 innings in 2009, striking out 27.
• Made five of his six starts against ACC teams on Sundays, including earning a win over then No. 1 North Carolina.
• Struck out a career-high four batters in 2009 three times; against UNC Greensboro, Wake Forest and Wofford.
• Named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll in 2008 after logging a 2.92 ERA in 10 appearances.
• Pitched for the Crystal Lake Cardinals in the Chicago Suburban League during the 2008 summer, going 3-4 with two saves, a 2.83 ERA and 41 strikeouts.
2003-07 (Marian Central Catholic High School)
• A four-year letter winner in both football and baseball for the Hurricanes.
• Named one of the top-100 players in the state by the Chicago Sun-Times and the Chicago Tribune.
• Tabbed all-conference and all-area following his junior season, which he finished with a 5-2 record, striking out 48 in 47 innings of work and holding a 1.42 ERA.
• Also hit .390 with 32 hits, seven of which were doubles, in his junior season.
• Hit two home runs and eight hits in his three games his senior season before a season ending injury.
• Named his summer American Legion team MVP in 2007 after batting over .450 from both sides of the plate.
• A four year member of the Marian Central Catholic honor roll and earned High Honors every year.
• Tabbed academic all-conference as a senior.
