2022 (Senior at Creighton):
Hitomi started each of the nine matches she saw action in during the 2022 season prior to suffering a season-ending ACL injury against Connecticut on Sept. 22 ... Yamaue played a combined 707 minutes, including a season-high 90 minutes against Kansas City (Aug. 25), Tulsa (Sept. 4) and at South Dakota State (Sept. 11) ... She fired off five shots on the season, notching a season-high two shots against North Dakota on Sept. 1.
2021 (Junior at Creighton):
Yamaue appeared in all 19 matches for the Bluejays, making 10 starts and logging 1,157 minutes of playing time ... Hitomi played a career-high 106 minutes in a 1-1 draw against #25 Georgetown on Sept. 21 ... A defensive midfielder, Hitomi fired off six shots on the season, notching one in five consecutive matches from Sept. 30 against Marquette to Oct. 17 against Seton Hall.
2019-20 (Tyler JC):
Yamaue came to Creighton with some hardware as she and her Tyler JC teammates claimed the NJCAA national title with an undefeated season in 2020 (18-0) ... Yamaue earned the defensive MVP, helping the Apache defense allow just one goal in four matches during the NJCAA Division I National Championships ... Yamaue claimed back-to-back national titles with Tyler JC, closing her two seasons in Texas with 39 starts in 40 matches, sending in three goals and six assists ... During her two national championship seasons, Yamaue and her teammates delivered 25 shutouts in 40 matches.

The daughter of Tomoko and Atsushi Yamaue, Hitomi was born in Okayama, Japan ... She has one sibling, Masaki ... Hitomi is pursuing a healthy lifestyle management major.
