Getting to Know Nick Bowron
- A four year letterwinner in baseball, Nick also played two seasons of basketball.
- Bowron was recognized as a Mr. Baseball Finalist and Post-Bulletin Player of the Year while at Lourdes HS.
- As a senior for the Eagles, Bowron earned National High School Baseball Coaches’ Association, defensive player of the year and MVP honors.
- The 2024 season saw Nick claim National High School Baseball Coaches’ Association honors, Offensive Player of the Year and MVP.
- A four-time all-conference selection, Nick also earned four all-sectional nods.

- Who was your favorite athlete growing up? Bryce Harper
- Where did you first fall in love with baseball, and who put the first glove in your hand? My dad and grandpa put the first glove in my hand. I fell in love playing catch with my dad in the backyard
- Who is the GOAT of baseball? Mike Trout
- What’s your favorite restaurant in Omaha? Homegrown
- If you didn’t play baseball, what other sport would you have played? Football
- What’s your earliest baseball memory that still sticks with you today? In a 10u tournament, I bunted and forgot to run to first.
- What’s a hobby or talent you have that people wouldn’t expect from a baseball player? A hobby that I have is fishing and cooking.
