Crete High School
- In addition to earning a second consecutive All-BIG EAST First Team honor, Morgan earned College Sports Communicators Academic All-America recognition.
- Starting each of the Bluejays’ 32 games, Maly closed the season with 486 points, including 70 treys and a team-high 209 rebounds.
- Morgan recorded her fifth career double-double with a career-high 30 points and 10 rebounds in Creighton’s 81-55 win over South Dakota on Nov. 10.
- Feeling right at home in Pinnacle Bank Arena, Maly hit her first four shots from long range, finishing with a team-high 23 points in the Bluejays’ 79-74 win over Nebraska on Nov. 19.
- Maly earned a spot on the Cancun Challenge All-Tournament team as she helped lead Creighton to the Riviera Division Championship with wins over Georgia Tech (57-46 on Nov. 23) and Michigan State (83-69 on Nov. 24). Maly finished with 37 combined points, including 26 against the Spartans.
- For the second time in six games, Morgan collected double-digit rebounds with 10 in the Bluejays’ 115-62 win over Northern Iowa on Dec. 3.
- Seemingly answering every surge from DePaul with a meaningful bucket, Morgan helped Creighton earn a 75-68 road win on Jan. 3 in Chicago with 15 points and 4-for-8 shooting from three-point range.
- Morgan authored one of her best games of the season in the Bluejays 63-49 win over Villanova on Jan. 21, closing the game with 24 points and a career-high 13 rebounds.
- Continuing her brilliant road play, Maly scored 12 of her 20 points in the first quarter to help Creighton best Georgetown 77-72 on Jan. 24.
- Morgan gave the Bluejays 16 points and nine rebounds, including a pair of critical boards in the fourth quarter to lift Creighton to a 57-49 win over Seton Hall on Jan. 28.
- Lifting Creighton with 12 of her 21 points in the first half, Maly closed the game with five rebounds in the Bluejays’ 76-71 win over Marquette on Jan. 31.
- Relying on her inside game, Morgan led Creighton to a 71-51 win at St. John’s, finishing with a game-high 20 points and team-best seven rebounds.
- Morgan caught fire in the second quarter against Villanova as she helped her squad rally from down 23-8 to defeat the Wildcats 79-69 on Feb. 24. Maly delivered 18 points and eight rebounds.
- Maly continued her stellar play with 19 points and eight rebounds in the Bluejays’ 99-57 win over Xavier on Feb. 27.
- With 14 points and 12 rebounds, Maly posted her seventh career double-double in Creighton’s 72-65 win at Seton Hall on March 3.
- Maly delivered 16 points on 6-of-12 from the field during the 87-73 win over #20 UNLV in the First Round of the NCAA Tournament on March 23.
- Two days later she was 7-for-14 with 18 points against #6 UCLA in the Second Round of the NCAA Tournament.
Summer of 2023
- Maly’s summer began with a 3x3 National Championship in Colorado Springs, Colorado as the Bluejay quartet of Lauren Jensen, Maly, Molly Mogensen and Emma Ronsiek claimed the title with a 5-1 record.
- The Bluejays posted victories over Seton Hall, Villanova and Duke in the elimination round.
- Morgan was named the 3x3 MVP for her play in Colorado Springs, earning a spot on Team USA’s 3x3 U21 team.
- Playing for the USA National Team, Maly spent more than a week in China playing in the Nations League in June.
- She was then invited to play for Team USA 3x3 U21 squad in Canada in July, then led her team to the Nations League Championship in Mongolia in early September, claiming her second MVP honor.
2022-23 (Junior)
- Maly earned All-BIG EAST First Team honors, posting a team-best 191 rebounds and the second most points with 454 and knocked down team leading 69 treys.
- Morgan scored 21 points, knocking down eight field goals to lift Creighton to a 74-51 win at South Dakota on Nov. 10.
- Maly dropped 18 points on the Mavericks in a 93-71 win at Omaha on Nov. 22.
- Morgan finished with 16 points, including nine in the third quarter, and a career-high four steals as Creighton downed #25 Villanova, 67-46, on Dec. 2.
- Maly dropped 24 points on 9-of-16 from the field in Creighton’s 75-71 win over Drake on Dec. 10. Morgan was 4-of-7 from range and also grabbed six rebounds.
- Morgan delivered 24 points, knocking down a career best 12-of-12 from the free throw line against #21 Arkansas on Dec. 17.
- Maly posted 20 points on 7-of-12 from the field (58.3%) in the Bluejays’ 92-82 win at DePaul on Dec. 31. She also grabbed eight rebounds and blocked a career-high three in the victory.
- Morgan exploded for a career-high 30 points and tied another career best with five assists against Providence on Jan. 4.
- Maly delivered 23 points on 9-of-14 from the field in Creighton’s 75-53 win over Seton Hall on Jan. 11.
- Morgan went toe-to-toe with DePaul’s Aneesah Morrow, leading the Bluejays to an 83-74 win on Feb. 1 with a team-high 21 points.
- Maly led Creighton with 22 points in the Bluejays’ 81-65 win over St. John’s on Feb. 4.
- Morgan posted her third career double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds in the Bluejays’ 55-44 win over Marquette on Feb. 22.
- Down 62-57 with 16 seconds left in regulation Maly drained a trey to ignite Creighton’s rally to force overtime. Then in the extra session her rebound and
- putback gave the Bluejays the 75-74 win over Seton Hall in the BIG EAST Quarterfinals on March 4.
2021-22 (Sophomore)
- Maly appeared in 32 games during the 2021-22 season, collecting one start.
- She was named the BIG EAST Sixth Woman of the Year, closing the season with 392 points, including the second-highest number of three-pointers with 80.
- Maly also grabbed 128 rebounds in 685 minutes on the court.
- Morgan knocked down five treys to lead the Bluejays with 15 points at Drake on Nov. 10.
- Morgan sparked a 16-0 run to open the 64-38 win over Georgetown on Dec. 3 with six points on a pair of three-balls, closing the game with a team-high 12 points.
- Maly finished with 20 points in the Bluejays’ 81-72 win at Arkansas on Dec. 21, shooting 8-of-13 from the field. Maly was recognized with a spot on the BIG EAST Honor Roll following her efforts.
- Maly earned a second straight spot on the BIG EAST Honor Roll with 14 points at Xavier on Jan. 2. Her impact in the third quarter, 12 points, turned a tie game (35-35) into a 53-41 Creighton advantage.
- Morgan led Creighton with 14 points at #11 Connecticut on Jan. 9, taking a career-high 16 shots from the field.
- Maly scored eight points in the fourth quarter and 13 of her 15 in the second half to help Creighton salt away its 86-80 win over St. John’s on Jan. 16.
- Morgan notched four treys in 21 minutes to close the Bluejays’ 95-71 win over Providence with 17 points on Jan. 28.
- Maly led Creighton with 14 points, connecting on 6-of-10 from the field at Marquette on Feb. 6.
- Morgan dropped six trifectas on Butler for 18 points in the Bluejays’ 96-49 win on Feb. 13.
- Morgan raised her career-high to 13 rebounds, also delivering eight points, in the Bluejays’ 64-62 win over #8 Iowa in the Second Round of the NCAA Tournament on March 20.
- Maly torched #10 Iowa State for a season-high 21 points to lead Creighton to the Elite Eight with a 74-68 win on March 25.
2020-21 (Freshman)
- Morgan saw action in each of the Bluejays’ 22 games in 2020-21, earning starts in Creighton’s two contests in the WNIT.
- She closed the season with 169 points (7.7 ppg) and 86 rebounds (3.9 rpg).
- Maly reached double figures seven times in points and once in rebounds.
- Morgan knocked down as least one three-pointer in her last 19
- consecutive games as a freshman.
- She delivered her first points as a Bluejay in the opening game with Drake on Nov. 25, closing the game with five points.
- Morgan exploded for a team-high 16 points in Creighton’s 88-41 win at Butler on Dec. 6. She finished the contest 5-of-6 from the field.
- Maly was impressive with 13 points on 4-of-6 from the field and five rebounds against #18 DePaul on Dec. 22.
- Morgan collected nine rebounds in 19 minutes during the Bluejays’ 65-57 win over Georgetown on Jan. 30.
- Maly exploded for 20 points, including 11 in the third quarter alone, in the Bluejays’ 77-76 overtime win at Seton Hall. Her third quarter performance helped the Bluejays cut a 14-point third quarter deficit to just three.
- Morgan followed up the performance against the Pirates with
- 11 points in the Bluejays’ win at Georgetown on Feb. 15. Down 41-35 with 93 seconds remaining, Maly’s trey ignited a 7-0 run to lift the Bluejays to the 42-41 win.
- Maly collected her third consecutive double-digit performance with 10 points in the Bluejays’ 83-72 win at #19 DePaul on Feb. 20.
- Morgan was crucial to Creighton’s 83-76 win over Seton Hall in the BIG EAST Tournament Quarterfinals with her first career double-double,
- finishing with 18 points and 11 rebounds on March 6.
Crete High School
- The epitome of an all-around athlete, Maly collected 13 letters as a Cardinal in basketball (four), softball (four) and track (four). Morgan’s 13th letter came in academics as her class valedictorian.
- The 2020 Nebraska Gatorade Player of the Year, also collected the Lincoln Journal Star Basketball Player of the Year in 2019-20 as well as the Lincoln Journal Star Multi-Sport Athlete of the Year.
- Maly was a four-time Central Conference First Team selection, a two-time First Team All-State Class B pick (junior and senior) as well as a two-time Second Team All State Class B (freshman and sophomore) honoree.
- Morgan was also the Nebraska Miss Basketball in 2020, a Nebraska Coaches Association All-State Game selection and two-time First Team Super-State.
- She closed her Cardinal career with 14 school records, including points in a game (38), points in a season (552), career points (1,756) and career rebounds (759).
- Morgan’s father, Jason, played football at Doane University.
