Barry Jones comes to Creighton University with an extensive background in coaching basketball at the NBA level with the San Antonio Spurs, operating his own prep school (BFL Prep Academy) and (19yrs) teaching special education K-12. He has coached several NBA players including No. 1 pick Paolo Banchero and several highly-ranked players including current Creighton standout Katrelle Harmon. Jones played and graduated from HBCU Saint Augustine’s University (NC) where he became the first in his family to graduate from college. He is pursuing his master’s in organizational leadership (sports leadership).
