2023-24 (Sophomore): Patel gathered 27 victories earned throughout his sophomore season ... Posted a perfect 5-0 record, primarily at the No. 3 doubles position with fellow classmate Yuma Daijima ... In BIG EAST play, Patel secured six combined singles and doubles wins, including a three-set thriller against #60 St. John's Martin Bugaj (5-7, 6-2, 10-8) ... Combined for five wins during fall action, including wins over University of Nebraska-Kearney's Adam Palacek (6-3, 6-7,10-7) and North Dakota's Jerall Yasin (6-4, 6-3) at the Omaha Invite on Oct. 7-8 ... BIG EAST All-Academic Team and ITA Scholar-Athlete honoree.
2022-23 (Freshman): Recorded an 8-6 overall singles record at No. 4, No. 5 and No. 6 singles, and went 3-1 in BIG EAST play ... Posted six wins and six losses at primarily the No. 2 doubles position ... Last singles win of the season came over Oral Roberts with a tough three-set victory 4-6, 6-2, 6-4 to lead the Bluejays to a 4-3 team win ... Came up with Creighton's only win in their matchup against Wichita State, partnering with Casey Ross to claim a 7-6 win.
High School:
Patel, of Robinson High School in Ontario, joins the team with a strong repertoire of rankings among players in his age group in the neighboring nation. Patel is ranked No. 8 out of all 18-and-under players in Canada and was the runner-up in the Canadian Junior Singles Championship competition last September. Patel also has a No. 707 International Tennis Federation (ITF) ranking and an 11.2 UTR.
