- Ronsiek claimed a 3x3 National Championship in Colorado Springs, Colorado as the Bluejay quartet of Lauren Jensen, Morgan Maly, Molly Mogensen and Ronsiek collected the title with a 5-1 record. The Bluejays posted victories over Seton Hall, Villanova and Duke in the elimination round, defeating the Blue Devils in the championship game.
- Ronsiek was also invited to participate in 2023 USA Women’s AmeriCup Team Trials in early May in Colorado.
2022-23 (Junior)
- Emma started all 31 games, playing 925 minutes and scoring 410 points in her junior campaign.
- Following the regular season, Ronsiek earned All-BIG EAST Honorable Mention.
- She finished second on the team with 164 rebounds (5.3 rpg), third in both scoring (13.2 ppg) and assists with 93.
- Ronsiek stepped forward with 23 points to lead the Bluejays to an 85-66 win at Northern Iowa on Nov. 20.
- Emma remained hot at Omaha on Nov. 22, leading Creighton with 26 points in a 93-71 win.
- Ronsiek tied a career-high with five treys, finishing with 19 points, in Creighton’s 75-71 win over Drake on Dec. 10.
- Emma earned a spot on the BIG EAST Honor Roll after scoring a team-high 22 points in the Bluejays’ 92-82 win at DePaul on Dec. 31.
- Ronsiek was 6-for-10 with 12 points and five rebounds in the Bluejays’ 75-53 win over Seton Hall on Jan. 11.
- For the 15th time in her career, Emma delivered at least 20 points, leading Creighton to a 64-46 win at Providence on Jan. 24.
- Ronsiek delivered her fourth career double-double scoring, 14 points and grabbing 11 rebounds in a 65-57 win at Georgetown on Jan. 28.
- Emma dominated Seton Hall with 21 points on 8-of-10 from the field in Creighton’s 77-64 win on Feb. 7.
- Ronsiek reached 1,000 points in just her 76th game as a Bluejay with 10 points against Xavier on Feb. 12 in Creighton’s 73-53 win.
- Emma dished out a career-best seven assists, closing the game with 10 points and six rebounds in the Bluejays’ 75-34 win over Georgetown on Feb. 18.
- Ronsiek was just shy of perfect in Creighton’s 74-46 win over Butler, knocking down all six shots inside the arc as well as a free throw to finish with 13 points on Feb. 27.
- Finishing with a team-high 22 points, Ronsiek hit the game-tying three to force overtime in Creighton’s 75-74 overtime win against Seton Hall in the BIG EAST Quarterfinal on March 4. Emma delivered five points in the extra session.
- Ronsiek battled through foul trouble to deliver 15 points in Creighton’s BIG EAST Tournament Semifinal contest with #10 Villanova on March 5.
2021-22 (Sophomore)
- Ronsiek earned the start in each of the 32 games she appeared in, leading the Bluejays with 445 points and 161 rebounds.
- The All-BIG EAST First Team selection also was third on the team with 81 assists.
- Ronsiek swatted a career-high four blocks for the second time in her career, both coming against Drake, on Nov. 10.
- Emma delivered against her home state team, South Dakota State, with 18 points and nine rebounds in the Bluejays’ 67-55 win on Nov. 21.
- Ronsiek continued to shine in the early portion of her sophomore season with 25 points in Creighton’s 79-72 win over Northern Iowa on Nov. 27.
- Emma posted a second straight game of 5-of-7 from the field, closing the game with 17 points in Creighton’s 69-62 win over Arizona State on Dec. 12.
- Ronsiek posted another strong performance against a foe from her home state, scoring 23 points on 9-of-11 from the field against South Dakota on Dec. 16.
- Emma dished out six assists in the Bluejays’ 67-51 win at Xavier on Jan. 2.
- Ronsiek grabbed six rebounds and limited Marquette’s Lauren Van Kleunen to 2-of-16 from the field in the Bluejays’ 62-45 win over Marquette on Jan. 7.
- Emma delivered 27 points, shooting 12-of-16 from the field in the Bluejays’ 83-60 win over Seton Hall on Jan. 14.
- Ronsiek raised her career-high to 30 points, knocking down five treys, to cement the Bluejays’ 86-80 victory over St. John’s on Jan. 16.
- Her two-game total of 57 points propelled Emma to the BIG EAST Player of the Week honor on Jan. 17.
- Emma continued to sizzle with 20 points at Butler (Jan. 19) and 19 at Georgetown (Jan. 21) in a pair of victories.
- Ronsiek led all scorers with 23 points in the Bluejays’ 77-68 win at DePaul on Feb. 4.
- Emma posted 19 points, nine from long range, in Creighton’s 96-49 win over Butler on Feb. 13.
- Ronsiek earned her second BIG EAST Player of the Week, leading Creighton to a pair of road wins at St. John’s (107-59) and at Seton Hall (97-91 in 2OT) with 42 combined points and 18 combined rebounds.
- In the BIG EAST Tournament opener she posted 13 points and six assists against Seton Hall on March 5.
- Emma delivered a double-double, 13 points and 10 rebounds, in Creighton’s 64-62 win over #8 Iowa in the Second Round of the NCAA Tournament on March 25.
2020-21 (Freshman)
- Ronsiek appeared in 20 games for the Bluejays as a freshman, with 14 starts, earning a spot on the BIG EAST All-Freshman Team.
- She closed the season with 231 points (11.6 ppg) & 101 rebounds (5.1 rpg).
- Emma reached double figures in points nine times and double figures in rebounds twice.
- Ronsiek was impressive in her Creighton debut with 13 points and six rebounds against Drake on Nov. 25.
- Just five days later she led the Bluejays with 15 points on 5-of-7 from the field at South Dakota State on Nov. 30.
- Ronsiek earned her first start as a Bluejay, closing the game with eight points at Villanova on Dec. 19. Two days later she was explosive against #18 DePaul on Dec. 22 with 28 points, 10 rebounds and shot 13-of-15 from the field.
- The performance was enough to capture the BIG EAST Freshman of the Week on Dec. 28.
- Ronsiek delivered 27 points, shooting 9-of-12, in Creighton’s 83-72 win at #19 DePaul on Feb. 20.
- Emma grabbed a season-high 12 rebounds in the Bluejays’ 56-42 win over Georgetown in the opening round of the BIG EAST Tournament on March 5.
- The following night she posted her second career double-double with 20 points and 10 rebounds to help Creighton upset third-seeded Seton Hall (83-76) in the BIG EAST Tournament Quarterfinals.
O’Gorman High School
- Ronsiek closed her career with the Knights with eight combined letters in basketball (four) and volleyball (four).
- The 2019-20 South Dakota Gatorade Basketball Player of the Year, Emma also claimed Player of the Year honors from the Argus Leader (Athlete and basketball), Midco, KeloLand Media Group, as well as the South Dakota Miss Basketball honor.
- A two-time pick in the Argus Leader first five (top five players in the state), Ronsiek was also a four-time All-State selection.
- As a junior she earned the Midco Player of the Year, and nominee for both KeloLand and Gatorade player of the year awards.
- Ronsiek finished her career at O’Gorman HS as the school record holder with 1,334 points, also collecting 625 rebounds and 234 assists.
- She also earned All-State recognition for volleyball during her sophomore and junior season, setting O’Gorman’s school record for kills with over 1,200. Ronsiek broke the mark set by another former Bluejay, Creighton volleyball standout Taryn Kloth.
Personal
- Athletic excellence runs in the Ronsiek family as Emma’s mother Mary Beth played basketball at Dakota Wesleyan as well as Mitchell (NAIA in South Dakota) while her father, Randy, played at Westmar (Iowa).
- Emma’s bother, Luke is a member of the Mount Marty (South Dakota) basketball team.
- Her sister, Hannah, plays basketball at Colorado State.
