- She was an Argus Leader First Five selection, nominated for South Dakota Miss Basketball and the KeloLand Player of the Year as a senior.
- An All-State Tournament Team selection, Lexi also was a three-time All-Dak 12 First Team pick.
- Unruh missed junior season with an injury, yet returned to earn the Dak 12 MVP as a senior.
- She played in the North/South All-Star Game as well as the South Dakota 3 Class Shootout All Star game.
- Lexi left Sioux Falls Christian HS with school records for points in a single game (42), points in a single season (578), steals in a single season (104) and career steals (303).
- Both of Lexi’s parents were collegiate athletes. Her father, Nathan, played basketball at University of Sioux Falls, while her mother Sara ran cross country at Augustana.
