Name: Claire Pyne
High School: Downers Grove North High School
Hometown: Downers Grove, Ill.
Parents/family: Parents Mike and Sharon Pyne, sister Cate Pyne
Major: Undecided, but I’m looking into pre-law
I knew I wanted to be a Bluejay when… I hung out with the girls on the team and they made me feel super comfortable and welcomed.
Interesting fact about me: I have broken both of my arms at the same time!
Running Superstition: I can’t eat pasta the night before a race.
Favorite Running Spot: Danada Forest Preserve
If I could run with any three people, living or dead, it would be: Dwayne “the Rock” Johnson, Craig Engels, and my nana.
When I am not running, I am: reading books, playing euchre or spikeball, and searching for nearby crepe restaurants!
Favorite Movie: The Hunger Games
Favorite Food: crepes
