Govindarajan played club soccer for the Toronto Blizzard Academy ... Lux led the Woodbridge Strikers to the Canadian Cup Finals in 2017 ... She was named the top goalkeeper in the Ontario Youth Soccer League, posting 17 shutouts.

The daughter of Rajan Vadivel and Anbukkarasi Shanmugam, Luxshala (Lux) was born in Vancouver, Canada... She has two siblings; Miru and Brinda ... Lux is planning to major in kinesiology and hopes to pursue a career as an athletic trainer.
