2022: Super Senior at Creighton
• Ranked sixth nationally among active players with 2,289 career digs.
• Served as CU’s libero each set in 2022, with double-figure digs in all but six matches.
• Surpassed 2,000 career digs (including Morehead State) on Sept. 18 at Rice.
• Picked up 15 digs vs. No. 2 Nebraska (Sept. 7).
• Had season-high 29 digs and nine assists in 3-2 win vs. Florida State (Sept. 9).
• Owned 21 digs in four sets vs. Kansas State (Sept. 17), then added 24 digs one day later at Rice (Sept. 18).
• Named BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Week on Sept. 19.
• Dug 19 balls vs. Georgetown (Sept. 23) and 18 more at Providence (Oct. 8), both in 3-0 victories.
• Owned 21 digs in 3-2 win vs. No. 16 Marquette (Oct. 14), then dug 20 more balls two days later in 3-2 win vs. DePaul (Oct. 16).
• Had 21 digs in BIG EAST Tournament final win vs. No. 14 Marquette (Nov. 26), adding her third kill of the season.
• Dug 20 balls in NCAA Tournament match vs. Auburn (Dec. 2).
• One of three graduate transfers on Creighton’s 2022 roster, Whitten served as Morehead State’s libero each of the previous four seasons.
2021: Senior at Morehead State
• Recorded 577 digs, averaging 4.85 digs per set, in 119 sets played.
• Also had 55 assists and eight kills.
• Her 577 digs ranks in the top five in program history for a season.
• Ranked 18th nationally in total digs and 41st in digs per set.
• Owned a season-high of 40 digs against both Murray State (Oct. 1)and vs. Southeast Missouri State (Nov. 20), making her the only woman in the country with multiple 40-dig matches in either of the last two seasons.
• Had nine matches of 20 or more digs on the year.
• Recognized as the Ohio Valley Conference Defensive Player of the Week (Oct. 18).
2020: Junior at Morehead State
• Ranked third in the Ohio Valley Conference with 291 digs, placing fifth with 4.41 digs per set.
• Was also sixth in the OVC with 21 service aces, ranking 10th with 0.32 aces per set.
• Became the 27th member of Morehead State’s 1,000 Dig Club with a 15 dig effort against Murray State (Feb. 14).
• Recorded double-digit digs in 18 of 19 matches on the season.
• Appeared in all 19 matches and played in all 66 sets on the season.
• Scooped up 22 digs vs. Eastern Kentucky (March 21).
• Owned team-high 19 digs in five-set NCAA Tournament win over Creighton (April 14).
• Tied a career-high with five service aces versus Eastern Illinois (Feb. 7).
• Surpassed 20+ digs on two occasions.
• Crafted a 22-match streak of double-digit digs from Nov. 21, 2019 to April 14, 2021.
2019: Sophomore at Morehead State
• Appeared in 33 matches and all 119 sets on the season as Morehead State’s libero.
• Led the team with 514 digs (4.32 per set), ranking fourth in the OVC in total digs and seventh in digs per set.
• Became the eighth player in program history to reach 500 digs in a season with 26 digs versus High Point on (Dec. 7) in the NIVC.
• Ranked second on the team and fourth in the OVC with 37 service aces.
• Added 38 assists and three kills on the year.
• Strung together 28 straight matches with double-digit digs (Sept. 14, 2018 - Sept. 13, 2019).
• Achieved double-digit digs in 29 matches on the season.
• Dug up 20 or more balls on five occasions.
• Ended the season with four straight matches of 10 or more digs.
2018: Freshman at Morehead State
• Appeared in all 31 matches, appearing in all of the team’s 113 sets.
• Paced the team with 441 digs (3.90 per set).
• Morehead State’s first true freshman libero since 2006.
• Recorded 29 assists, 20 service aces, and five kills.
• Dug up a season-high 26 balls versus Bradley on (Aug. 24).
• Recorded double-figure dig totals in 28 matches.
• Dug up 20 or more balls on three occasions.
• Ended the season with a streak of 20 consecutive matches recording 10 or more digs.
Saint Joseph’s Catholic High School
• Won six state titles (2012 and 2013 at Hillcrest High School; 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017 at St. Joseph’s High School for head coach Jan Karino).
• Named an Under Armor Honorable Mention High School All-American.
• South Carolina 1A Player of the Year in 2015 and the state’s 2A Player of the Year in 2016.
• Piled up more than 1,000 career kills and digs.
• Named a finalist for PrepVolleyball.com’s National Freshman, Sophomore and Junior Player of the Year.
• Two-time South Carolina Gatorade Player of the Year nominee.
• Played for Axis Elite Club and head coach Mike Whitten (her father).
• Three-time AAU Academic All-American.
• Helped Axis Elite to the 2015 16U national title.
