Danielle Manley is in her second season as the programs director of player development. She is responsible for the filming of practices and games, recording stats using Synergy, helps with scouting and assist in the day-to-day operation of the team.
In her first season with the Bluejays, Manley helped guide Creighton to a 36-22 overall record and a runner-up finish at the BIG EAST Tournament.Â
Manley came to Creighton after spending more than 10 years working in the sports television industry, helping broadcast Creighton and NCAA Sporting events, including the Men's College World Series for Jays Video, Fox Sports, CBS Sports and the Big 10 Network.Â
Over the years, Manley has worked nearly 100 Creighton softball games, reinvigorating her passion for softball and wanting to be around the team and helping teach the next group of young women student-athletes playing at Creighton.Â
She was a four-time letterwinner as a standout player for the College of Saint Mary's in Omaha. A three-year All-Midland Collegiate Athletic Conference and two-time NAIA All-Region selection, Manley was named the No. 2 hitting in the country, recording a .549 batting average with a .802 slugging percentage as a senior. Â
Manley graduated from College of Saint Mary in 2007 with a Bachelor degree in Art with a minor in Business Administration & Mathematics. She currently resides in Omaha with her husband Bryan and son Noah.Â
