    Patty Galas is in her 30th season as the administrative assistant for the Creighton men’s basketball program, and 37th overall at Creighton. She is responsible for providing administrative support to coach Greg McDermott and the men’s basketball staff.
    As part of her duties, Galas coordinates team travel, manages McDermott’s calendar and correspondence, makes all arrangements for tournament and postseason play and BIG EAST Media Day, and organizes the Greg McDermott and Johnny Torres Luncheons.
    Galas serves as the administrative assistant to Creighton athletic director Marcus Blossom and provides administrative support to other staff members.
    She is also active in the Teammates mentoring program and St. Bernadette’s Parish in Bellevue.
    She resides in Omaha and is the proud mother of three daughters -- Jenni Weeder, Julie Bishop and Jill Isaacs. In honor of their mom’s service and legacy at Creighton, her daughters have established the Patty Galas Athletic Endowed Scholarship.
