CHARLESTON, Ill. - The 11th-ranked Creighton men's soccer team pushed its shutout streak to three games as the Bluejays topped Eastern Illinois 2-0 on Sunday afternoon. Zac Gibbens picked up his second shutout in the three-game span for his second win of the year.
Jarod Tarver and Brian Biggerstaff had a goal and an assist each, as the Bluejays moved their record to 9-2-0 and 3-1-0 in the Missouri Valley Conference.
Creighton returns to action on Friday night when it plays host to Vanderbilt. The men and women will play a doubleheader at the soccer facility this Friday night and in between games the stadium will officially be dedicated and named.
