For the second straight match, the Bluejay offensive came to life in the second half. CU out-shot LMU 11-6 in the second half, before needing just 1:59 in overtime to take clinch the victory.
The Bluejay defense posted its third shutout in its last four matches, while it has not allowed a goal during game play in its last four contests ? allowing just a penalty kick in that span. Senior goalkeeper Matt Allen, also listed on the MAC Hermann Trophy Watch List, stopped a season-high six shots for the Bluejays. CU lowered its goals against average to 0.55 on the season.
