The
Bluejays started five players who have never suited up for a regular-season
game. All 14 players in uniform played eight minutes or more and scored two
points or more as Creighton's bench outscored Lethbridge by a convincing 67-23
margin,
Aaron Brandt and Kenny Lawson Jr. shared team-best scoring honors with 12 points,
with Lawson adding 10 rebounds for the double-double. Booker Woodfox added 11 points in the win. Junior walk-on Dustin Sitzmann, who owns just three career points in two seasons
with the Jays, had seven points on a pair of baskets and two free throws.
Now 3-0 on
the weekend, Creighton will play its fourth game in two days tonight at 9 pm
