- Creighton is now 19-16 all-time in the MVC Tournament, including 7-4 as the No. 2 seed.
- Creighton is on a season-high five-game winning streak - its last loss came at Northern Iowa on Feb. 21, 73-57.
- The Jays are appearing in their second straight MVC Tournament championship game, third in the last four years and sixth overall - 1994, 1999, 2002, 2007, 2009, 2010. CU is 1-4 in its previous title game appearances, winning the 2002 event.
- Creighton's last two appearances in the championship game have both ended in heartbreaking fashion for the Bluejays

- Creighton captured its 20th win of the season last night, its third consecutive 20-win season and fifth in eight years under Jim Flanery. Flan's predecessor, Connie Yori, had three 20 win seasons in her 10 years at Creighton.
- In its first two tournament games, Creighton is shooting 46.2 percent from the field (48-104), 34.0 percent from three-point range (17-50) and 56.0 percent from the free-throw line (28-50).
- In three games at the MVC Tournament last year, CU shot just 32.5 percent (53-163) from the field and 22.9 percent (11-48) from three-point range.
- Sam Schuett is averaging 14.5 points, 9.0 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game for the Jays at the MVC Tournament, shooting 47.6 percent (10-21) from the field and 36.4 percent (4-11) from three-point range.
- Chevelley Herring and Kellie Nelson are both averaging 12 points per game at the tournament. Nelson has made 10-of-13 shots from the field in the tournament for a 76.9 FG percent.
- Kelsey Woodard is 4-for-6 (.667) from three-point range at this year's tournament, after entering the weekend 7-for-24 (.292) from long range in her first five career MVC postseason games.
- Megan Neuvirth leads the team with 3.5 assists per game at the tournament, while adding 7.0 points and 6.5 rebounds at the event.
- Megan Neuvirth and Chevelle Herring will be playing in their 11th career MVC Tournament game on Sunday and their third MVC Tournament title game. Both are school records.
- Megan Neuvirth has not scored more than nine points in any of her last eight MVC Tournament games. She averages 7.3 points per game in 10 career MVC postseason contests, never scoring more than 13 in The Valley postseason.
- Creighton drained 11 three-pointers on Friday night and followed with six on Saturday to total 17 in two tournament games this year, after draining only 20 treys in its previous five games at The Family Arena.
- Megan Neuvirth set a school record last night, playing in her 127th career game, surpassing the former mark of 126 owned by Codi Walker.
- With its two wins in St. Charles, the Jays have improved to 12-0 on the year when shooting at least 40 percent from the field.
- In its win over Drake on Friday night, CU moved to 11-0 when making at least eight three-pointers and 5-0 in games decided by five points or less.
- Creighton is 6-0 when making at least 10 three-pointers in a game this season and 30-11 under Jim Flanery when making 10 or more triples.
- Creighton is now 42-23 (.646) under Jim Flanery in games decided by five points or less.
- Creighton's 33 three-point field goal attempts on Friday were a CU record in an MVC Tournament game.
- Neuvirth's 13 rebounds at the tournament give her 912 in her career - now 10th in MVC history and just 12 shy of the school record (924 by Pam Gradoville).
- Neuvirth's 13 rebounds at this year's tournament have extended her school MVC Tournament record with 78 boards in 10 MVC postseason games.
- Sam Schuett was 3-for-5 from three-point range against Wichita State last night and ranks sixth in school history, shooting 38.8 percent (123-317) from 3FG in her career.
- Schuett has 634 career rebounds, just two shy of cracking the Creighton career top-10 (Becky Flynn, 636).
- Kelsey Woodard has moved into fourth in school history with 190 career three-pointers with four three-pointers in the MVC Tournament.
- Chevelle Herring is now tied with Kristi Woodard for 11th in school history with 132 career threes.
- Herring now owns the school record for three-point attempts in a career in MVC Tournament play. She has attempted 43 three-pointers in 10 career MVC postseason games, surpassing the former mark of 36 set by Christy Neneman.
- Kelsey Woodard was 3-for-3 from three-point range against Wichita State last night, the first time she had made more than two threes in a game since going 4-for-4 at Illinois State on Jan. 2, a span of 18 games.
- Creighton's win on Friday was just its second this season when trailing at the half (2-6). It's only other win when trailing at the half came against UNI at home on Jan. 24, when the Jays trailed 33-17 at halftime.
- Ally Jensen scored a career-high 18 points on Friday, making 6-of-12 three-pointers. The six treys tied a Bluejay season-high, done twice previously by Kelsey Woodard. Her six three-pointers were the most by a Bluejay in the MVC Tournament since current assistant coach Dayna Finch made 8-of-12 threes against Indiana State in the 2002 quarterfinals.
- Jensen leads all MVC freshmen with a .358 three-point field goal percentage.
- Even with 11 second-half turnovers and 14 total last night against Wichita State, Creighton is averaging just 8.5 turnovers per game over its last four.
- Creighton has made 213 three-pointers this year, a third straight season with 200 triples. It's the fifth time in eight seasons under Jim Flanery the Jays have surpassed 200 threes. The Jays have now eclipsed 200 threes seven times in school history.
- CU leads the MVC and ranks 24th in the NCAA with 7.3 three-pointers per game. CU is shooting 37.8 percent (170-450) from long range in its 20 wins, averaging 8.5 threes per win. In losses, CU is just 43-of-165 for 26.1 percent at an average of 4.8 per game.
- Creighton is playing in its 30th game of the season today for the 11th time in school history. The Jays are 9-1 in their previous 30th games.
- Creighton is 3-3 on Sundays this year - including its loss to UNI.
- Creighton's starting lineup in all but three games this year has featured all five Nebraskans - including both tournament games. It marks the first time in recorded school history the Jays have started all five home state players in any game - let alone 26 of 29.
Against the Panthers
- Creighton is 30-13 all-time against UNI, including 0-1 at neutral sites.
- Creighton is 1-1 all-time against UNI in the MVC Tournament

- Creighton won 62-58 over UNI (Jan. 24) after trailing by 18 points in the second half. The Jays were down 42-24 with 14:09 left, down 48-34 with 8:17 left and were still down by double figures with 6:05 to play. CU closed the game on a 28-10 run.
- The 18-point deficit overcome for a win was the second-largest comeback under Jim Flanery. It was the first game (one of only two) this year the Jays overcame a halftime deficit for a win.
- Megan Neuvirth (20 points, 10 rebounds) and Sam Schuett (14 points, 11 rebounds) both had double-doubles in CU's win in Omaha. 15 of Neuvirth's point came in the second half.
- Chevelle Herring came off the bench for the only time this season in the first meeting with UNI, finishing with 12 points.
- Neuvirth and Herring accounted for seven of CU's final eight field goals and 19 of its final 23 points in the win over UNI this year.
- Lizzie Boeck scored a career-high 24 points, making 10-of-16 shots against the Jays in UNI's 73-57 win on Feb. 21 in Cedar Falls.
- UNI shot 47.1 percent from the field in the win, 20-of-21 (.952) from the free-throw line.
- UNI out-rebounded the Jays 42-26 in its win, the worst rebounding margin by the Jays this year.
- CU shot just 30.2 percent from the field in its loss.
- On the season, CU is just 9-of-30 (.300) from three-point range against UNI.
- Megan Neuvirth has averaged 17.8 points per game against UNI in her last four games. In her career she averages 12.0 points, 6.9 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game against the Panthers, while shooting 44.6 percent (37-83) from the field.
