Carter sank another trey, his sixth, to tie it at 57. McDermott would sink a pair of foul shots to give CU a two-point edge, and Carter missed a jumper on the other end, with Echenique clearing the board for CU possession.

Following a timeout, McDermott missed an open three-pointer from the right wing, and ISU snared the rebound. After clearing halfcourt ISU called timeout with 17.4 seconds left and the shot clock off.
