Cox Announces Three Basketball Telecasts

OMAHA, Neb. -- Cox will televise three Creighton men's basketball home games this winter, the network announced today. The additions mean at least 25 Creighton games will be broadcast during the 2012-13 men's basketball campaign.

The games will air on Cox cable channel 2 in Omaha. The broadcasts will also be made available for free on Cox's On Demand platform for 60 days.

Cox's first broadcast will be Creighton's Nov. 20 contest against Longwood. The network also plans to air the Nov. 28 match-up with Boise State, as well as a Feb. 19 contest against Valley rival Sothern Illinois.

Earlier this month Creighton had previously announced that KMTV would be televising five games, FSN would air three games, NET Sports would air three games and ESPN/ESPN2/ESPNU/ESPN3.com would air nine more contests. In addition, Creighton's Dec. 15 game at California will air on the Pac-12 Network.

The Creighton men will play a Nov. 2 exhibition vs. Mary before opening the regular-season on Nov. 9 vs. North Texas.
