Creighton Athletics Partners With SIDEARM Sports On New Website

OMAHA, Neb. -- Creighton Athletics has announced a new partnership with SIDEARM Sports to host its redesigned website, which will still be found at GoCreighton.com and debuts on Friday. Based out of Syracuse, N.Y., SIDEARM Sports was founded in 2001 and includes Syracuse, Kansas, Wisconsin, Indiana, Texas, Xavier and the BIG EAST Conference among its more than 800 clients nationwide.

Visitors to the new site will quickly notice a customizable scoreboard at the top of the page that provides links to live video, audio, stats and recaps. Below that are larger photos that accommodate five top stories, with three additional stories underneath. The home page also includes media players that overlay YouTube video, links to recent social media posts on Twitter and Instagram, and a new set-up to feature many of Creighton's top-notch athletic facilities. The new site also will also allow for additional HD streaming of live events, which will be now be available on mobile platforms, all provided at no cost to the consumer. Biographies of Creighton's Athletic Hall of Famers, more detailed box scores and career statistics, and an increased emphasis on serving the mobile consumer were points of emphasis during the redesign.
The site features virtually every recap and news release for Creighton's 14 Division I programs since the 1999-2000 school year. GoCreighton.com includes more than 38,000 images and 26,000 stories that have been loaded into the archives, making it the definitive on-line historical source for Bluejay Athletics.
