
Men's Tennis Defeats Baker 6-1 to Remain Perfect in 2015

TOPEKA, Kan. – The Creighton men's tennis team defeated Baker 6-1 at the Wood Valley Racquet Club this weekend.
Creighton (3-0) swept all three doubles contests from Baker (0-2). The Bluejays went on to five of six singles matches in straight sets against the Wildcats.
In doubles action, sophomore Jake Norman and senior Elliott Baker earned a 6-4 victory on court one. At No. 2 doubles, Junior Quinn Dippel and junior Nick Thompson posted a 6-1 win. Sophomore Harrison Lang and junior August Nysted notched a 6-3 victory on court three.
Dippel, Lang, Baker and Nysted also won their singles matches to go 2-0 on the day. Sophomore Jake Glazer recorded a 6-1, 6-1 victory on court six for his first win of the season.
Creighton hosts its home opener against Western Illinois on Feb. 7.
