Series History: Butler leads series, 5-1-1
While the Bulldogs hold the edge in the all-time series, 5-1-1, all three contests since both schools joined the BIG EAST in 2013 have required overtime to complete. Last season, Butler pulled out a 2-1 double-overtime victory in Omaha. The Bluejays and Bulldogs tied 1-1 in Indianapolis during the 2014 season.
Scouting Butler (9-5-2, 2-3-1 BIG EAST)
The Bulldogs recorded five consecutive shutouts and held an 8-2-1 record on Sept. 24, but the tables turned as Butler did not score in its next four matches (0-3-1), before picking up a 2-1 win against Seton Hall on Sunday.
Serina Kashimoto leads the Bulldogs and is tied for fourth in the BIG EAST with eight goals. She also paces the team with five assists and is 3-for-3 on penalty kicks.
