Bluejays eye second-consecutive win

OMAHA, Neb. — Creighton Women's Tennis will begin a three-match homestand on Wednesday as the Bluejays play host to crosstown opponent Omaha. Wednesday's matchup will begin at 12:30 p.m., inside the Hanscom Tennis Center in Omaha.
The Bluejays (1-3) have gone toe-to-toe with Omaha each of the past five years, with Creighton coming away victorious in all five contests.
GETTING UP TO SPEED
The Bluejays capped a three-match road trip with a 5-0 win versus Wisconsin-Green Bay on Sunday, Feb. 7.
Four Creighton players found the win column in singles action in the win, including Ashley Ishimura and Sam Anderson, who each went 2-1 in singles play over the weekend.
Also earning singles wins on Sunday were Darby Rosette and Karlin Naslund.
Naslund and Katherine Neslen teamed up to win at No. 2 Doubles, while Anderson paired with Ashley Monaco to earn a win at the third doubles position.
SCOUTING OMAHA
After beginning the spring with three losses in their first four contests, the Mavericks (4-3) have won three consecutive matches.
All three victories came last Friday, as Omaha defeated Green Bay (7-0), Hastings (6-1) and Doane (7-0).
Through seven matches, the Mavericks have recorded a cumulative singles record of 21-15, with Kenzie Hill earning a team-best four victories.
Omaha has gone 11-8 in doubles play, with Michelle Lo and Hylan Miller going 3-0 at No. 1 Doubles.
