Women's Basketball Ranked #23 in AP Poll

Omaha, Neb. -- Riding a nine-game winning streak that has brought the Bluejays to the BIG EAST Tournament semifinals, the Creighton women's basketball team continued to receive national attention as the Bluejays were ranked #23 in the AP Poll on Monday, March 6.

This marks just the fourth time in program history that the Bluejays have been ranked in the AP Poll, the previous three appearances coming in 1992. Creighton has been in the USA Today/Coaches Poll for the past two weeks, which will be released tomorrow.

The second-seeded Bluejays face off with BIG EAST tournament host and third-seeded Marquette today at 3:00 pm.
