Women's Tennis Hosts Bluejay Invitational Friday and Saturday

Individuals and doubles teams from seven schools will compete at the Koch Family Tennis Center
OMAHA, Neb. -- The Creighton women's tennis team will host the Bluejay Invitational on Friday and Saturday at the Koch Family Tennis Center.Â
The Bluejays welcome competitors from Nebraska-Omaha, Colorado State, North Dakota, Iowa State, Doane and Gustavus for the two-day event.
Student-athletes will compete in three flights of doubles and six flights of singles.
Play will begin Friday at 1 p.m. with the first round of doubles action followed by the second round. The first round of singles will start at about 3 p.m.
The invite will continue on Saturday with the final round of doubles starting at 9 a.m. before the conclusion of singles action throughout the remainder of the day.
Head coach Tom Lilly is in his 21st season as head coach of women's tennis program, and is assisted by his wife Jean Lilly.Â
The Koch Family Tennis Center is located at 12440 W Maple Road in Omaha.Â
