Women's Basketball Signs Three for 2019-20

Bachelor, Parham and Pryor Officially join the Bluejay family
Omaha, Neb. -- Creighton women's basketball head coach Jim Flanery announced the signing of Carly Bachelor, Mykel Parham and DeArica Pryor on Wednesday, Nov. 14 as the trio each signed NLI's to become Bluejays.

Bachelor comes to Creighton from Topeka, Kansas. The 6-0 guard is currently a senior at Washburn Rural High School and plays for the Ohlde Elite AAU team. A three-time All- Centennial First Team selection, Bachelor averaged 19.8 ppg and 11.6 rpg as a junior. In her sophomore season the guard put up 210 ppg and 12.4 rpg.
A 6-2 forward from Burnsville, Minnesota, Parham is a senior at Apple Valley High School and played club basketball for the North Tartan AAU squad. She grabbed double-digit boards (12.0 rpg) as a junior, collecting 222 rebounds to finish in the top ten in Minnesota. Parham also collected 111 blocked shots, the second most in the state.
Bolstering the Bluejays core group from Iowa and Nebraska, Dearica Pryor is a 5-7 guard from Urbandale, Iowa. Currently a senior at Urbandale High School, Pryor also plays for the Pure Prep AAU team. The Urbandale team captain, Pryor posted 14.6 ppg, 4.2 apg and 5.5 rpg as a junior. Her efforts led to a Second Team selection by the Des Moines Register.
"This class is particularly exciting, we've brought in three highly talented players that will help us continue to compete in the BIG EAST conference,": said Flanery.
Flanery and the current Creighton squad continue the 2018-19 season on Thursday, Nov. 15 as the Bluejays battle South Dakota State at 7:00 pm in Brookings, S.D.
