Omaha, Neb. -- Creighton women's soccer head coach Ross Paule added another talented player to his 2018 class as the Bluejays announced their signing of Aida Kardovic (Serbia) on Monday, Feb. 26. The addition of Kardovic pushes Creighton's 2018 class to nine additions.
A record-breaker in her home country of Serbia, Kardovic stands 5-7. Aida was the first 15-year old to play at the top level of German soccer, joining 1.FFC Turbine Potsdam in the Bundesliga League. A member of the U19 Serbian Team, Kardovic and her squad are currently competing for the European Championship.
"Aida is an extremely talented player that will improve our team in many areas," noted Paule. "She is highly skilled and a very technical player with the capacity to raise the level of her teammates with her play on the pitch."
